The complete novice-level certification program takes you from a novice to a fully certified (P2) pilot. This means that you are licensed by the United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association to fly on your own without supervision at most regulated sites in the U.S. and across the world.

About The Novice Certification Course
The course is typically composed of between 8 to 12 lessons (depending on how the student progresses and how well Mother Nature cooperates). The package includes unlimited lessons for up to three months.
All equipment for the lessons is provided. Class includes ground school, canopy control, flight safety, videos, approximately 35 full flights at several sites, and radio supervision for your comfort and safety. We will also apply half of the package price to a new gear package (wing/harness/reserve).
You have three months to complete this package (if it takes longer, we do have programs you may upgrade to). You can pay the entire package up front or pay as you go. If you choose the latter option, please average $95 a lesson, which is applied toward the total lesson price.
