About the Board

The new Scrub Akashi uses a composite wood/epoxy deck, for better flex and pop. This makes the Scrub Akashi an even better freestyle/kite board, as well as being a great introduction into downhill boarding.

The Scrub Akashi Land Board also features the new Scrub 12mm axle diameter skate style mountain board trucks and is fitted with more durable 12mm channel truck style mountain board bearings.

The use of a 12mm axle offers increased strength, resulting in a board that is stronger whilst still retaining the lightweight benefits of a skate-style mountain board truck assembly.

At 90cm long, the composite deck make the Scrub Akashi extremely manoeuvrable. 8" diamond tread tires come standard, giving reliable performance in all conditions. New and improved Scrub velcro comfort bindings offer a more secure fit for increased comfort and performance.

With a total board weight of only 14 lbs, the Scrub Akashi All-Terrain Board is the lightest mountain board in the Scrub range. Use it as a mountain board for ripping it up on dirt tracks or as a lightweight kite board for use with a power kite. You need look no further for your first board!
